In 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, the class "History of the West cookbook until the 20th century" of the Executive Master in Food & Design of the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts of Brussels/Arba-Esa/CIRPC, was given by museum officials, Nicole Hanot and Charles Ménage, at the Gourmet museum.

From this class comes a conference in French for associations and groups that can be given to the Museum or in your local : An unusual conference that kills some myths about the culinary authors ; you discover a literature very particular because "cookbook" is not necessarily synonymous with recipebook... And humor and surprises are far from being absent! The quality of the illustrations also makes you better appreciate the passion of gourmet bibliophiles. This conference had be held on February 18, 2014 at the Libraire ToquĂ© in Namur.
