Delicatessens : a shop for pleasure

A shop of 28 m2 is devoted to delicatessen and nature near the monumental barn where is the flea market of our association.

It thus completes the offer related to gastronomy whose the farm has made its specialty with the Museum and Library of Gastronomy, the tavern Al Rawète, the guided walks "Gourmet Nature" and the other training days on edible wild plants.

Besides an large lot of gastronomic and oenologic books, you will also find there, from April to September, aromatic plants.

Franciane Caille offers you peppers of the world (Madagascar, Togo, India, Pakistan, China, Japan, Brazil… – in short more than twenty exceptional peppers), curry from India, Pakistan, red or black salts from Hawaï, blue from Persian, pink from Himalayan, Guérande salts, other flavored with truffles or hibiscus ... and spice mixtures from China, Japan, Argentina, Canada…

Honeys from France, Portugal and Wallonia, jams from Hesbaye, or with saffron or without added sugar…, English marmalade, terrines from the Perigord and other "tapenades" will delight your entire family as the bio sirups bio from Gaume, the bio choco – without palm oil… – or the truffle mayonnaise and Béarnaise sauces from… Tubize !

You will also find flavored oils and vinegars to add a refined touch to your home preparations.

Specialities of the Gourmet museum are also sold in aid of the "Ferme castrale".

From spring to fall, you will buy the traditional condiment pot plants but also other more rare perennials, such as China basil, basil-cinnamon, agastache, bergamot or burnet that will amaze the palate of your guests.

Opened in 2013, "Nature & Kitchen" is now a "local POS" recognized by the Office of Walloon Products.

The shop is open as part of the traditional schedule of the Farm castrale: Saturday from 2 to 7 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm - except in November, December, January and February where the activities of the Farm stop at 6 pm.
